Getting started

From account to first installed job in five minutes.

You can browse the whole catalogue without an account. To install a job you need a DotJobs account, and to run it you need a connected Dot. Here is the shortest path from zero to a configured job.

  1. 1

    Create an account

Go to Create account and sign up with email and password. GitHub and Google sign-in are available when enabled for the deployment.
  2. 2

    Pick a job

Browse all jobs or filter by category. Every listing shows inputs, schedule, connected apps, outputs and price before you commit.
  3. 3

    Install it

Press Install to your Dot. The job is saved to your account immediately and appears in your dashboard.
  4. 4

    Fill in inputs

Open the job in your dashboard and fill in the required inputs: lists, URLs, free text. Save, and the status changes from Needs setup to Ready.
  5. 5

    Connect your Dot

When Dot connection is available, connect once. Every Ready job starts running on its schedule, asking for the app connections it declared.

Your dashboard

The dashboard is where installed jobs live. It has six areas:

  • Overview — Dot status, counts, monthly estimate and the jobs that need attention.
  • My jobs — all installs grouped by active and paused.
  • Runs — run history with logs and diffs once your Dot is connected.
  • Connections — the apps your jobs need, grouped by app, with grant and revoke controls.
  • Billing — what you would be billed, derived from your active monthly jobs.
  • Settings — profile, sign-in methods and account deletion.

Pricing at a glance

Jobs are priced either per run (you pay when you trigger it) or per month (billed while installed and active). Paused jobs are not billed. Nothing is billed during early access.
